The great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy, who left an indelible mark on Eastern literature with his wonderful creativity, is widely famous not only in the centuries-old history of the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, but also in the vast spiritual world of the entire East. His wonderful poetry, full of wisdom, deep philosophy, and high artistic skill, is a precious treasure of the Turkmen people and world culture. Writer Kerim Gurbannepesov notes that in his poem «Halypam»:
O master, your dream has come true,
We renewed the old world.
We've covered your every word in gold
Number of book hits a million [2, 14].
In the book of the national leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, «The Unquenchable Light of the Human Soul», he said: «The poems of Magtymguly Pyragy, which echoes as songs of humanity, patriotism, spirit, integrity, and unity, are the inspiration of every human being». [1, 27] — is the limitless respect of the Turkmen people and the great thinker of the whole East Magtymguly Pyragy. The creativity of Magtymguly Pyragy, the great poet and thinker of the Turkmen people, has indelible spiritual and moral values in the spiritual world and life of people, and has become an eternal light in their minds as a guide of goodness. Magtymguly Pyragy's poetic legacy has become an integral part of world literature, making an important contribution to the treasury of humanities in the history of literature not only of the Turkmen people, but also of the entire Eastern peoples.
In 2024, our Hero Arkadag signing of the decision to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy, the great thinker, master of words and classic poet of the East, will also contribute to the wide promotion of the great master of words in the world, and to the people of the world showing more interest in the poet's world of poetry. There is almost no topic left unaddressed in the work of this master of the word, that is, he addresses all the issues of the people's daily life, describes the general image of the country, feelings of patriotism, morality, heroism, and humanitarian qualities in the spirit of artistry. His works resonate as a reminder of universal moral values — boundless love for our country and people, friendship and loyalty, honor and dignity. The ideas of humanism, patriotism, unity and solidarity in the poet's poems have served as a standard principle for poets and scientists of most countries of the world for three centuries. Chingiz Aitmatov, one of the foreign poets-writers, says about Magtymguly's creativity: «The reach of Magtymguly's words to our days is the virtue of the Turkmen people». That is, the creative path of the great Turkmen personality Pyragy is the first reason for the rise and continuation of national literature.
In fact, the humanistic feelings, aspirations and spiritual world, such as patriotism, heroism, and high morality, which came from the soul of this great man, were inherited by the Turkmen people. In general, the scope of the creative field of this peerless poet is as boundless as the sky. In the history of Turkmen visual art, the image of this great poet, his era, and the creative world with deep meaning have a special bright place. In the period of flourishing of national culture and art, great attention is also paid to fine arts. Along with all forms of visual arts, new heights are being reached in painting. Painting is one of the main forms of visual arts. The image of Pyragy is skillfully depicted in the art of painting.
In 1947, one of the artists who left an indelible mark on the art of Turkmen art was the first to create the image of Magtymguly Pyragy, the sage of the East, the great master of words, in 1947. People's artist of Turkmenistan, winner of the Magtymguly international award, candidate of arts studies, professor Aihan Hajiyev. About his work, the artist said: «My magnificence is deeply rooted in my creative world. It became the main theme of my creativity. That is, the poet's creative path remained one of the integral themes in Turkmen fine art.
In turn, the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, which is a hotbed of art, held a scientific creative competition dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy called «Courageous Youth». In this exhibition, excellent types of visual, practical and architectural-design works created by teachers and students of our university were exhibited. The main theme of the paintings in the exhibition was the skillful execution of the image of Pyragy. Among those pictures are Atadurdyev Allaberdi's «Mountains that See the Fire», Durdymyradov Palwan's «Caravan», Gutlyev Ashyrgeldi's «I've Waited for a Long Time, the Strange Age Has Come», Durdyeva Arzuv's «The Original Country of the Country», Anakhovskii Pavel's «I'm Leaving», Sarykov Tahyr's «There are more beautiful than beautiful». «Chosen» by Pirovov Durdymuhammed, «Goodbye beautiful Shirgazy» by Gurbanov Jumamyrad, «What are you?" His works are distinguished by their artistic features. The thematic features of the works are distinguished by their unique monumental character.
That is, the poet described each of his creations by observing the beauty of the Turkmen land. Also, in Gurbanov Jumamyrad's artistic work «Goodbye beautiful Shirgazy» you can see the image of Magtymguly combined with the golden yellow colors of the Turkmen land. Here, the moments of the poet, who completed the Shirgazy madrasa in Khiva and hurried to return to his native land, looking into the distance and thinking, show the history of those times to the viewer.
