Keywords: autobahn, construction, engineering communication.
Today, the biggest and most amazing miracle in the Karakum Mountains is the Ashgabat-Turkmenabad autobahn. Of course, the word «autobahn» is often heard. In 1932, the 20-kilometer high-speed road built between Cologne and Bonn was called the Autobahn. Since then, the Federal Republic of Germany has become one of the most experienced countries in the construction of such roads and has shown itself to the world. To be precise, in the cities and large settlements of this densely forested, green, river, and lake country in the lap of Europe, people who get into cars are walking on 13 thousand kilometers of autobahn.
Today, Turkmenistan is building such a autobahn that will pass through the sands of flowing sands, foothills, landslides, hills and hills — saline sandy soil layers, hollow rocks, and in short, the vast Karakum.
Natural conditions are one of the most difficult and difficult problems in any construction, and to be precise, they are the main factor in the successful completion of the work. Because if you don't get along with nature, it's an obvious fact that any specific scientific hypothesis. Engineering — communication solution, most advanced techniques, and incredible power will make you a coward. Only the harmony of human wisdom and natural state, as the Turkmen say, «when it moves from one ear» is for the good of the work and the pleasure of the owner. Above all, the ecological harmony is in the pocket.
If you see the construction of the second stage of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabad highway Tejen — Mary, you will say «yes, it is so». If you leave the Telekechilyan industrial zone on the outskirts of Ashgabat and go along the 1st stage of the Ashgabat — Turkmenabad highway, which has been commissioned, you will reach Tejen in less than 1 and a half hours. Previously, this distance took about 3 hours. In the development of the modern world, East-West and North-South international traffic corridors have become the main infrastructure that connects peoples, promotes trade, improves supplies, and guarantees peace.
Today, transport diplomacy is playing an increasingly important role in international cooperation. Turkmenistan actively participates in the activities of the United Nations and other international organizations on this important issue. In fact, Turkmenistan has already been recognized as one of the founders of transport diplomacy in the Eurasian space.
History reports that the ancient Silk Road once passed along the highway Ashgabat — Turkmenabad. Turkmenistan is building an up-to-date model of the new Silk Road at the expense of its national economy. Such a high-speed highway, which is emerging in the country, is an indisputable guarantee of the economic development of the region. This means that various goods will now be transported through Turkmenistan quickly, cheaply and safely. Transport and logistics are a necessity for global development and economic growth, trade and communication.
As modern experts say, «now the world economy is spinning on wheels». World economic relations, economic balance, stable and peaceful development depend on caravan loads. In the ancient and wise East, the principle that «cannons are not sounded where the caravan bells are sounded, because shooting at the caravan is the ultimate sin» has been in practice for a long time.
Regular and timely integration into the world transport system, expansion of roads leading to different directions, opening of new ones, further expansion of infrastructure in the direction of roads connecting countries and regions, in a word, restoration of the Great Silk Road, connecting it to the economic zones of Eurasia — it means growth, cooperation, harmony, happiness, peace.
This is the strategic importance of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabad autobahn, to reach Central Asia and the Caspian regions into the Eurasian space, to create a new component of the multimodal logistics system, and to spread the country's status as a transit transport center of regional importance to the world. This road, which is considered one of the largest projects in Central Asia, will be the «golden ring» of the transport and logistics infrastructure between Europe and Asia. According to statistics, now the share of the world cargo traffic is transported by cars. It is clear that heavy cargo brought to Turkmenbashi International Seaport from Europe or the Arabian Peninsula, intended for Kyrgyzstan or Uzbekistan, should be transported in modular form by automobiles. Or, the cargo returned from China or the Russian Federation by the Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran transnational railway will be delivered to the destination by modal partial cargo vehicles. This highway will serve not only Turkmenistan, but also neighboring countries, and especially, it will become an important passage for the Eurasian region in terms of transit traffic.
«Altyn Nesil» economic society, which is a part of «Turkmen autobahn» closed joint-stock company, operates between kilometers 203–312 of the Tejen-Mary section of the road. «Working» means that more than 1,000 people of different professions work in two shifts, i.e. 24/7, more than 650 different types of vehicles, dozens of types of technical services, 2 asphalt plants, and service services work non-stop in the ancient Khanhovuz Plain means The conditions created for those who work in the Karakum desert are ideal. There is a portable dormitory-camp for staff.
It has all facilities — dining room, hot and cold water, bathroom, fully equipped dormitory, library, recreation room, health services... He will settle in the Turkmengala desert or Uchazhi valley after the completion of the assigned work, perhaps at the end of the year. According to engineering solutions, the number of tasks that must be followed is about 20. Basically, according to the S-3 standards, the highway standard requires three layers of asphalt, with the first layer 10 cm thick, the second layer 7 cm thick, and the third layer 5 cm thick, for a total of 22 cm thick. The width of the road bed is 34.5 meters, the total traffic lane of the two-way road is 6, that is, 3 vehicles can walk on each side without obstruction, the traffic width of each side of the road should be 11 meters 25 centimeters, and the width between each side should be 3 meters 75 centimeters.
Ashgabat — Turkmenabad highway should have 6 trumpets, i.e. terminals. Technically speaking, it's a part of the highway that joins and exits the highway. The 1st of them is in Artyk, i.e., at the exit from the customs post between the Islamic Republic of Iran, the 2nd is near Teje, to be precise, at the place where you return from the Sarahs-Iran Sarahs border and get on the Tejen road, the 3rd is at the entrance to the city of Mary, i.e. Turgundy — Serkhetabad leaving the border and joining this highway in Mary, the 4th near Yoloten, along the Serhetabad-Mary road, the 5th near Bayramaly, as it was said, at the intersection of seven roads, and the 6th at the final point — in the city of Turkmenabat on the banks of the Amydra River, the most famous, Farap — It will be built near the customs post of Uzbekistan.
In the development of the modern world, the East-West and North-South international traffic corridors are the main foundations that connect peoples, promote trade, improve supplies, and guarantee peace. The Ashgabat-Turkmenabad highway will be the «golden link» of the transport and communication corridor.
